Founded in 1935 by a small group of Finland collectors and now devoted to stamps and postal history of several Scandinavian nations. Since 1943, they publish the quarterly The Posthorn.  Services include local chapters, study groups, sales book circuits, auctions, slide programs, handbooks, exhibition awards, special awards, library, and an annual convention At NAPEX 07, visit them at Tables A and B. APS Affiliate 38

 

The Society of Indo-China Philatelists is an international club for collectors of Indo-China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, and related areas.  The Society publishes a quarterly journal The Indo-China Philatelist and has auctions using the postal mail and the Internet. Other online services include Fake and Fantasy Stamps of Vietnam plus numerous journals and articles on CD-ROMs. The Society is meeting at NAPEX 07 and has Society information at TABLE J. Membership is $15-25/year depending on location; but only $5/year worldwide if receiving the journal electronically. APS Unit 39

 

The SPI was founded in 1964 to serve the need of novice and experienced Olympic and sport stamp collectors. Members come from 38 countries and have interests in 72 sports and 31 Olympic sub-topics.  They publich quarterly the Journal of Sports Philately. Benefits also include 250+ lot quarterly mail auctions, SPIU sponsored covers and postal cards, handbooks, rapid notification service for postmarks, and a biannual membership handbook. At NAPEX 07, they are at Table D and are giving a Best-of-Show award for the best sports thematic exhibit. Annual dues for membership is $20/year for US/Canada and $30 overseas.
